Jeremiah 9:23-24
“Thus says the LORD, ‘Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this: That he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,’ says the LORD.”
Beloved,
Just as a triangle has lines linking together to create joints and ultimately a whole shape, there are 6 factors to pay attention to if you will enjoy the presence, person and power of God:
- The joints of God’s love, man’s will, awareness and consciousness.
- The links of God’s word, prayer and worship which is designed to produce knowledge, understanding and faith.
If you learn to worship, and do so effectively, you will activate all three dimensions of God. Awareness and consciousness are two main components to having the clear understanding of the totality of God. Job 33:14-18 teaches us that the person of God speaks. If you come before Him, He will speak about that situation. The reason we don’t hear is because we do not perceive. Lack of perception makes men to be open to the attack of the enemy. The death of man when he fell in Eden literally meant the loss of capacity to perceive, accommodate, align with, adjust to and enjoy the presence of God. When he lost that capacity, he broke that connection he had with God.
Factors that impact believers awareness:
- Carnality, 1 Corinthians 3:1. When a man is not born again, it is like having a language barrier with someone from a different nationality. God wants His communication with us to be stressless. When a man is born again but carnal, it takes God so much effort to communicate with that person.
- Busyness and distractions, Luke 10:40.
- Sensibility, Psalm.119:36 AMPC. Don’t let your brain be a barrier to spiritual communications.
- Stubbornness, Zachariah 7:11 LSB.
- Dullness of perception, Hebrews 5:11.
- Neglect, Proverbs 8:33 AMP. This is communicating to God that you don’t welcome His presence, neither are you prepared to host Him.
- Haste and impatience.
Develop your consciousness and awareness by obeying the law of recognition and differences, (Matthew 26:41, AMPC): - Recognize what is yours, John 2:1-5
- Recognize channels and men in their anointing, Genesis 18:1-3
- Recognize change of atmosphere,
• Have an awareness of the spirit realm, Genesis 28:17
Your recognition and response to the Spirit’s beckoning will make other processes easy for you.
Beloved, your impact in life is depends on how accurate you are. How accurate you are depends on your intimacy with the Holy. The bigger the intimacy, the bigger impact. The lower the intimacy, the lower the impact.
This is why the devil doesn’t want you to spend time with God because he knows that he will tell you things that will make you have impact in life.
