Colossians 2:8-9
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Beloved,
When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, God granted you the power to carry the fullness of Christ in your body. A union takes place where Christ supplies His Spirit, and you supply the body. If you don’t understand this concept of union with Christ, the scripture that says, “I have said you are gods and are the children of the Most High”, (Psalm 82:6) will not find full expression. It is at this point of union that your problem becomes the God’s problem and what matters to Him matters to you.
One of the advantages of this union is that you are raised to the level of Christ, Ephesians 2:5-6, Colossians 2:13-15, John 17:21. Beloved, we live because of our union with Christ, the very life of Christ is undefeatable, cannot yield to sickness, and carries divine possibilities. The life of Christ does not exempt you from problems, but it gives you solution to every problem. All that is required of you is to walk in this consciousness.
