Acts 8:29 NKJV
Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”
Beloved,
We must regularly remind ourselves that we are saved by God to serve. Paul said, “But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love” (Acts 20:24, Living Bible).
Our responsibility is to regularly find out where our kingdom assignment is, and willfully join ourselves to it. I pity believers that do not have a kingdom assignment. One major way God redeems men from a wrong journey is to give them an assignment. Any Christian that is without assignment is most vulnerable to the attack of the devil.
The scripture above clearly states that God will give you an instruction regarding your assignment, but you have a choice to make to either join yourself to it or not. To join yourself to it means to get absorbed in the assignment without any reservation. It is to get on board with the Holy Spirit until you produce a desired result.
You may have heard me ask this question so many times and I am asking again, “where are you in God’s program for your life?”
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
