2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NKJV
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
Beloved,
Neutral and downward. These are two words that should NEVER become normal descriptors for any believers’ journey. The plan of God is for our journey in life to be upward and forward continually.
If it seems that you’re not making progress, it may be that God is grounding, rooting you or you’re under an attack because of your progress. A man whose journey is neutral will most likely go downward.
One reason that you, as a believer, may not be making much progress could be traceable to the vision you have concerning your life or lack thereof. Vision lights up your future. It gives you an overview of your destiny and motivates you to pursue that future. Lack of vision is a dangerous thing. The Word of God cautions us:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…” Proverbs 29:18
This lack of vision can manifest in a number of ways. Some people have no vision. Others have a blurry vision. Some have wrong vision, perverted vision, or a very stale vision. Beloved, ensure that your own vision is healthy and full of vitality. If you have vision, then you can work with the Holy Spirit or a member of your God-ordained destiny team to convert your vision into actionable steps. If your vision is not converted to steps, there will be no way to make progress.
