Outpouring 2: Understanding and Receiving God’s Outpouring

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” – Joel 2:28

Requiring assistance is one matter; being unaware of the need for help is quite another. Unfortunately, this is often the situation many believers find themselves in. Beloved, you must be intentional about recognizing your dry seasons. Only then will you recognize and appreciate the purpose and power of outpouring from heaven.

How will you know you are in need of outpouring? You will know that you it when any area of your life is dry. In scripture, “dryness” commonly serves as a metaphor for diminished spiritual vitality, a sense of disconnection from God, or insufficient spiritual nourishment. Such conditions may arise due to sin, extended periods of adversity, or a lack of engagement with spiritual disciplines.

God knew you ahead of time. He knows your shortcomings and put a system in place especially for you. All you have to do is open your heart to receive the outpour of peace, love and Kingdom at work in your life.
